The purpose of the Make A Difference Endowment is to fund programs and initiatives that raise the quality of life and offer help and hope to underserved and overlooked individuals. Make A Difference Endowment financially supports Children’s Village, The UNCF, Maranathan Academy, The Lovelady Center and Einstein’s Playground that operates CDF Freedom Schools. 

CDF Freedom Schools is the signature program that the Make A Difference Endowment supports. 

CDF Freedom School is a 6-week Summer Program that addresses Summer Learning Loss (SLL). 

SLL is the largest factor in the achievement gap in school performance for low-income students, according to the National Center for Summer Learning at John Hopkins University. These losses are cumulative, contributing to social immobility and widening the opportunity gap. Low-income students on average lose 2-3 months in reading achievement during the summer. CDF Freedom School helps to close the SLL gap so students can keep pace and excel academically. 

On June 3, 2022, you will have the opportunity to Make A Difference in a big way as well as have a fun time playing golf. This year we are offering a one-day event with a morning flight. There will be a full complement of golfers. Be sure to get your registration in as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.
